There is no question about it. I waddle.
I've been given two choices when it comes to sleeping. I can do it on my right side or on my left side. That basically means I lay on one side until it hurts and then awkwardly flip to the other side until it hurts. The problem is that my hips ache all day from this routine.
I'm actually hoping it's the side sleeping that's causing it. The alternative reason is not pretty.
You see, I called the OB's office a few months back to report some random pains. The nurse was not concerned and mentioned ligaments and stretching, but then nonchalantly said, "it could also just be your hips spreading." My eyes widened, my mind's eye quickly illustrated a non-flattering vision and I said, "I realize that over the phone you can not see where my hips currently reside, but I assure you that I do not want to think about them spreading further."
So maybe it's the nightly flip flop or perhaps my God-given, child-bearing hips are (gasp) widening all the more. Regardless of the reason I waddle. Quack!

keep your head held high and waddle with pride!! =)
