Traveling Light

This is my purse.
It's actually a wristlet.  It holds my credit card, my license, my cell phone and whatever petty allowance in the form of pocket change that I have.  I don't even carry it everyday.  If I have pockets I put those items in there.  If Hubby is coming out with me then I use him as my personal chauffeur / Sugar Daddy and eliminate the need to even think about a license, keys or funding.

I've never been one to overpack for a vacation.  I get by with one pair of flip-flops and enough clean undies to last me the duration of the trip.

I like to travel light.

Unfortunately, my traveling light days are over.  EVERYTHING suddenly feels heavy.  Overall I'm feeling really well, but I am very much feeling every bit the role of the 7 months pregnant with twins character that I am playing.

I no longer bounce up the stairs the way I used to.  Instead I stop at the bottom.  I look up to the summit.  It may as well be Mt. Everest.  Slowly I start my ascent.  It takes a long time.  I grunt and groan.  I feel like I need to lift the belly with each step.

Yes, I am clearly not "traveling light."
